Anurag Basu and gang in Kolkata

Dibyajyoti Chaudhuri, TNN Aug 21, 2011, 11.13am IST

Shooting in the city for his film, " Barfee", director Anurag Basu seemed to be having a blast with his chilled-out cast.

Speaking at a press conference in a city hotel, he said, "I had started shooting in Darjeeling and then moved to Kolkata. A major part of the film has been shot here and we really loved it." Actor Ranbir Kapoor, who called his two co-stars rasgulla and gulab jamun, seemed very happy — courtesy the great biryani he tasted at a city restaurant. Ileana confessed that she had waited long for her Bollywood debut and was all praises for Anurag. "Although his functioning might seem a bit chaotic, he is clear about what he wants. The film is shaping up really well," she said.

The petite Piggy Chops said that a lot of homework was needed for her role in the film. "My character is quite unpredictable and it needed a lot of work," she said.
