The September 18 quake caused Rs 3400 crore in the Darjeeling Hills, official reports said today.
While 2900 houses were flattened, 42,000 houses got partially damaged, the reports compiled by DGHC authorities said.
In Siliguri city, 1,100 houses were totally damaged and 47,000 houses partially affected, SMC Mayor Gangotri Datta said.
About 1,00,000 people were affected in the north Bengal city.
